Nearly two years after the college admissions scandal first came to light, Netflix released a teaser trailer for an upcoming documentary about the bribery scheme. The documentary will highlight the methods used by mastermind Rick Singer to convince his wealthy and privileged clients to cheat their kids' way into college.

Netflix has released the first teaser for Operation Varsity Blues, a documentary that examines the 2019 college admissions scandal and the man at the center of it, Rick Singer. Directed by Chris.

Netflix shared the first short teaser in a tweet on Monday (February 22). 'Everything you’ve heard is true. But you haven’t heard everything,' the caption reads. Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal will feature an 'innovative combination of interviews and narrative recreations of the FBI's wiretapped conversations between Singer and his clients,' according to Netflix. The teaser plays a snippet of one of the recreated conversations.

Chris Smith, who directed the documentar Fyre and served as an executive producer for Netflix's uber-successful Tiger King, and Jon Karmen, who also worked on Fyre, will bring Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal to Netflix. The documentary will hit the streaming platform on March 17, 2021.

Both Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman have served their prison terms for their involvement in the college admission scan and making an effort to move on with their lives after their proven involvement in the scandal, but Netflix along with reputed docu filmmaker Chris Smith of Fyre fame are having none of it courtesy their new documentary film, Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal. Netflix just dropped the teaser of the same, and it looks to be a brutal expose of the entire sordid affair, including the key roles Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman played in the college-admission scandal.
